The Cancerous is a key tool for doctors as a decision support aid by predicting treatment outcomes for individual cancer patients. The app provides information about the expected survival rates, the expected side effects of treatments, the cost-effectiveness of a treatment plan among other important parameters. Currently, these models are based on Breast Cancer, Ovarian Cancer, Glioblastoma Multiforme, Endometrial Cancer while models for other cancer types are currently under development. The models on which these predictions are based are functional even if the app is offline. If a specific model is improved, the app is automatically updated as soon as it connects to the internet.
